I know, i know...

I've been busy, i got myself one of those girlfriend things and have been working hard trying to make things to sell in my shop. If you liked my photography and would like to keep seeing new stuff I have been quite regularly posting to my instagram, I know it's cameraphone but it means i get to take some good photos without the back breaking labour of carrying my dSLR kit everywhere. Plus, since becoming a yarn crafter i've had to cut down what i carry to make room for my projects. I do have plans to come back to this blog but for now it would be best to follow one of my sidebar links to see what i'm up to.

My overload of making recently has been working up to something. I'm getting extremely close to being able to start selling online., i have a pile of product and am just waiting on some custom labels, tags, etc. Once all that arrives i'll be able to finish and start listing my pieces.

Crochet Pear

This was one of the patterns in my japanese crochet pattern book, Lace Crochet Best Pattern.

A bunch of crochet hats

The first is the Brigham One Skein Hat by Lisa Gentry, the second is the Black & Brown Hat and the third is nicknamed "Barbies Sink after the Shrimp and Daiquiri party". The last 2 were custom designs by me, practicing basic hat design without patterns.

Pogona Scarf

I love this scarf and i love the yarn i used to make it. This one i made for myself. The scarf is the Pogona Scarf by Stephen West (westknits) and the yarn is a hand dyed cotton/tencel yarn in the 'Huon' colourway by Evoke Designer Yarn & Fabric.

Waratah Fibers Sampler Hat

I made this hat using a pack of hand dyed samples from Waratah Fibers, I bought the pack at the TAFTA forum this year. The pattern was the Sockhead Hat by Kelly McClure.
